  3. Lakeshore Chapter • Founded in 1998 • 730 members as of March 7, 2004 • Elected Board of 8 voting members • 2 officers (President, Secretary-Treasurer) who are also Board Members

  5. Membership • Membership survey completed – Q1’03 • Received good participation • Action plan developed • Membership statistics • 656 members as of Dec. 2002 • 720 members as of Dec. 2003 (10% growth) • 299 PMP – 41.5% of the membership

  6. Programs • 8 Dinner Meetings - between Jan ’03 and Dec ‘03 • Topics varied to appeal to different members

Professional Development • PMP Exam Assistance: • Spring 2003 PMP Self-Study Workshop: • Eight weekday evening sessions from April 23 – June 11. • Attended by 24, and facilitated by 14 volunteers. • Spring-Summer 2003 PMP Preparation Course: • Five Saturday all day sessions running from May 24 – June 21. • Delivered by Bay3000, and attended by 27 individuals. • Fall 2003 PMP Preparation Course: • Five Saturday all day sessions running from November 15 – December 13. • Delivered by Bay3000, and attended by 35 individuals.

Professional Development • Other Project Management Courses: • Offered 2 two day courses • Delivered by Procept Associates Ltd • Topics (as per the membership survey): • Assessing and Managing Project (August 26-27) • Juggling Multiple Projects (September 9-10) • Response was poor and therefore both were cancelled.

Overview – Member Survey ‘03 • The Board held a strategic planning workshop in January 2003 • An outcome of the workshop was the decision by the Board to survey the membership on a select number of items • The survey was held February 2003 • The results of the survey have been published to the website. • The Action Plan has been published to the website. Confirm amendment to the Chapter by-law no. 1 Resolution No. 1 - Amendment of By-Law No. 1 • This resolution is to amend By-Law No. 1 by suspending until the beginning of the 2005 AGM the second paragraph of section 8 of By-Law No. 1 concerning term limits. “No person shall serve as a director of the Corporation for more than three (3) consecutive one (1) year terms. In the event that a person serves as a director of the Corporation for three (3) consecutive one (1) year terms, such person shall be eligible to be re-elected to the board of directors after an absence from the board of directors of one (1) year.”
