  4. “a – g” Requirement Generally, a minimum of two years of “a – g” approved foreign language credit in the same language is required for admission to most four-year colleges. Call your student’s counselor for unique situations.

  5. LISTENING … Foreign language study enhances listening skills and memory… … this helps with communication, study skills, and test taking

  6. HIGHER TEST SCORES … During the past several years, statistics from the College Board show a positive correlation between SAT scores in English and math and the study of foreign language.
