  3. Announcement • Principal Ning Lin is out of town due to family emergency (a sympathy card is outside for parents to sign); • CCC has appointed Shoufeng (Sam) Hu as the CCLA principal 08-09; • Please vote for the CCLA official logo.

  4. New School Year • CCLA is accepting nomination for the associate principal, who will be the principal for 09-10; • It will be greatly appreciated if the current parent representatives and task leaders can stay in positions for the next year.

  5. Registration • No tuition increase for the new school year. • Introduction of registration fee and new rule for late fee: • Registration fee will be applied to all new students, unless they register during the pre-registration period. • Late fee will be applied to the first day of school. • CFL classes may be opened at CCSU campus, depending on the number of students and classroom availability.

  6. Parent duty point system • CCLA will adopt a policy for parent duty point system and volunteer system in parallel. • Parents are required to work for school for at least 10 hours per student. • $25 deposit will be collected at registration for each student. The deposit will be returned or applied to next year if the parent fulfill the responsibility.
