HEO/WIZ, HED, Admin-RX Down MD Process 8/12 • System Support will be rounding • Special Considerations • TPN ordering- • New orders- write Order to consult TPN team, TPN Pharmacist will complete order form • Existing TPN- TPN team will adjust TPN based on labs. • Insulin Drip & Electrolyte Replacement Protocols- RNs will adjust rate according to protocol • Nurse Managed Heparin Protocol will revert to Provider Managed Heparin Protocol – RN will call HO will PTT result and adjust orders. • Restraints- Charge nurse will contact HO to renew and after downtime is over • Code Status orders- Enter in StarForm as well as complete DT Code Status form ( Edocs)

Referencing OrderSets During HEO/WIZ Downtime8/12 R click on link below and click on Open Hyperlink http://160.129.213.190/starmejm/os_search.php • Set up VPN if needed • Type in the first few letters of the name of the orderset • Click on blue link to select appropriate orderset from the options • Print if necessary to use as a guide to manually write out orders
