“Purpose of the Egyptian Pyramids” What did the symbols on the walls represent? • The symbols painted on the walls of the inside of the pyramid would serve as a guide for the pharaoh on his way to heaven. • Along his journey, he would be questioned and these symbols would give him the answers.
