Haiku– Kala Ramesh Visuals – Bhavani Ramesh
running downhill I fall through the autumn sky
star counting we walk the spring moon up the hill path
morning raga… a honey bee attempts to waken the bud
dense fog . . . the train evaporates into a distant horn
mountain bridge I pass through the clouds
the pause he takes on his flute — spring rain
sepals around a bud the mountains guard a riversong
dripping mist pulls the sky into the valley
winter loneliness: the sofa she vacates holds her shape
waiting for a bengal tiger… I sense the power of silence
spring carnival: after much haggling, I win the laughing Buddha
thunder coming downhill the sound of glass bangles
harvesting grapes . . . the season slips through her fingers
