  2. WATER YOU DOING??? • The Intertidal Zone is a place where the land and sea meet. It is between the high and low tide zones. • It is found along coastlines worldwide. • IT IS 16-33 FEET.

  3. COULD YOU BE A LITTLE MORE PACIFIC • It is also known as the littoral zone. • It is divided into four zones- the Spray zone, high tide zone, middle tide zone, and low tide zone. • The animals have to be adapted to extreme changes in one day. IT ALSO GETS A LOT OF SUNLIGHT SO ANIMALS HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SURVIVE IN DIFFERENT HEATS.

  4. YOU JUST GOT SCHOOLED! • There are many animals in this area. These animals include sculpin, periwinkle snail, isopods, hermit crab, crab, limpets, barnacles, mussles, sea anemone, starfish, and chitons.

  5. DON’T WORRY, IT WILL GROW ON YOU • Blue-Green Seaweed • Red Algae • Kelp • Red Mangrove • Eelgrass • Sea Grape

  6. SORRY FOR ALL THE CRAPPIE PUNS • THE ROLE OF THE INTERTIDAL ZONE IS TO SUPPORT A LOT OF ANIMAL LIFE AND IT “SEPARATES” LAND FROM SEA.
