Wildlife Estates ACTIVITIES REPORT 2010 (after Soria Meeting) • Actions undertaken to promote the Wildlife Estates Initiative: • Presentations at Conferences in Lisbon, Vila Real and Aveiro • ANPC’s website • ANPC’s newsletter • Contacts with new applicants • Nearly 25 game estates were directly contacted, inviting them to enroll in the WE , of which 17 are willing to fulfill their applications till the end of 2010 • Several other estates contacted directly ANPC in order to receive more information, of which 3 are willing to fulfill their applications till the end of 2010

Wildlife Estates OBJECTIVES 2010 • Wildlife Estates «Brand and logo» registry (National level) • Portugal would like to registry (till the end of 2010) the Wildlife Estates Brand and Logo with the following «national specification» «Caça & Conservação» meaning: hunting/shooting/game species & nature conservation

Wildlife Estates OBJECTIVES 2010 • NEW APPLICATIONS • Presenting 20 new applications (till the end of 2010) • Evaluation of the new applications (till the end of 1st trimester 2011) • EVALUATORS • Preparing evaluators team (minimum five) for the Mediterranean region(till the end of 2010) • WILDLIFE ESTATES EVENT IN PORTUGAL • Portugal would like to organize a WE event in the beginning of 2011, with a formal ceremony to attribute new WE certificates to those estates who fulfill the minimum score needed.
