  2. When the Old Meets the New • The old law meets the new Lawgiver. • Circumcision fulfilled. • Purification purified. • Redemption redeemed.

  3. When the Old Meets the New • The old law meets the new Lawgiver. • The old man meets the new Salvation. • The old man was led by the Spirit. • The old man finds peace. • The old man foretells the means of salvation.

  4. When the Old Meets the New • The old law meets the new Lawgiver. • The old man meets the new Salvation. • The old woman meets the new Redeemer. • The old woman was faithful to her family. • The old woman was deeply devoted to God. • The old woman was sharing the gospel.

  5. What does that mean to me? • I need to realize that Jesus came to fulfill the law so that I am free from its bondage. I need to live like I am free. • I need to follow God’s word and calling no matter my status in life.

  6. What does that mean to me? • I need to be growing spiritually so I don’t miss out on God’s blessings. • God will give me peace when I am faithful to Him.

  7. What does that mean to me? • I need to be faithful to my family. • I need to be devoted to God! • I need to share the good news with everyone around me.
