  2. John Lennon’s Obituary John Winston Lennon (1940 -1980) a musical legend, political activist, and a hero of a generation was tragically killed on the streets of New York, today. He leaves behind loving wife, Yoko Ono and two sons Julian (from first marriage) and Sean. Sorely missed by his friends; Ringo Starr; Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Despite leading a more quiet life in his latter years, nations all around the world mourn and cry for one of the most influential people of the twentieth century. Please be upstanding and raise your glass to toast the life of a 'dreamer, but he's not the only one'- the one and only Mr. John Lennon.
