Hand lay up with prepreg. Preparation in autoclave and hot plates compression press. (laminates of fiber reinforced composite materials with polymeric matrix, different fiber orientation). • Determination of mechanical properties; complete characterization considering the material anisotropy. Tension, compression, bending testing at temperatures -129 a 540°C. • Fatigue and fracture analysis of composite materials: High cycle fatigue, low cycle fatigue, fracture toughness, Poisson modulus, interlaminar shear, dynamic testing. • Nondestructive testing of composite materials, using ultrasonic with phase arrays, immersion ultrasonic, “C” scan, Lamb waves, acoustic emission, radiography, infrared thermography. • Failure analysis of composite materials using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. • Noise and vibration analysis.
