  1. The Great Barrier ReefBY CLARA SCORGIE

  2. The Great Barrier Reef The Great Barrier Reef is famous for it’s beautiful features including: fish, coral, sea creatures and it’s snorkelling. Lots of people like travelling to Queensland so they can snorkel. |FACT| The Great Barrier Reef is 2,300 kilometres long! That is very big! (For those who don’t know how long 2,300 kilometres is it is 2 300 000 metres!)

  3. The Great Barrier Reef is more than 3,000 individual reefs! • A Reef is a narrow strip of rock, sand or coral that rises to or near the surface of the ocean. • Coral skeletons are made up of limestone! • A few sea creatures that live in The Great Barrier Reef are the Dugong, the Green Sea Turtle and the Humpback Whales. Who knows one day you might be able to see these beautiful sea creatures!

  4. Humpback Whales are the acrobatics of the sea, often leaping out of the water, and slapping there fins on the ocean surface. They are also quite talented singers, and talk to one another through grunts, squeals, moans and hums. These songs may go on for over thirty minutes!

  5. The state where the Great Barrier Reef is in Queensland. • The island closest to Cairns is Coral Cay. • The town closest to Lizard Island is Cook Town. • Out of the seven natural wonders of the world I would love to see Mount Everest with my own eyes in real life. It would be an amazing experience! • Mount Everest is the tallest Mountain in the World. It rises 29,035 feet (8,850 metres) on the boarder of Nepal and Tibet. It is part of a huge mountain range called the Himalaya. This range form when two parts of the Earth’s crust crashed together.

  6. I would like to visit Mount Everest because I have never seen snow and I would love to see snow surrounded around a world famous Mountain.

  7. Lovely presentation Clara. Great information, written in your own words. Well done. • Great choice of backgrounds and graphics. • You could make your presentation better by: adding some transitions and animations, as well as some music. • There are some spelling mistakes to fix, look for the S boxes. • Overall, a great effort.
