DOUBLE COMPRESSOR SYSTEMSummary • High stage cooling system – Used to cool the Interstage heat exchanger down to -40 degree centigrade. – No actual temperature difference in the cabinet. • Low stage cooling system – Uses the Interstage heat exchanger to change the refrigerant to fluid. • High stage failure – Interstage heat exchanger can not turn Low stage refrigerant into fluid – hence the system fails. • Low stage failure - The complete system fails as High stage is only build to cool the refrigerant cycle down.
