Risk Assessment Review Identify and/or anticipate changes (equipment, processes, practices, etc.) that could affect GO’s risks Update GO risk assessment as needed Identify risk reduction targets Identify and address colleague concerns or issues Communication to and from departments(e.g. OHSAS/ISO communication plan) Typical Agenda
Attend all meetings (or send designee) Actively participate in committee discussions/ initiatives/work Be an EHS advocate and resource for your department(s) Oversee quarterly workplace inspections, inc. recording findings and tracking action items through closure Celebrate/share info. on GO EHS successes Roles and Responsibilities
Reduce Injury/Illness Rate Gather and communicate relevant data Identify prevalent injuries in GO Incorporate ergonomics awareness (pamphlets, training, workplace evaluations, etc.) Raise awareness on PPE (Hearing protection, gloves, etc.) Support EHS incident investigations Track corrective actions through closure 2009 Committee GOALS

WorkplaceInspection Enhancements Use of check list Provided version(s) preferred - may use equivalent existing one Can modify for your area (submit modification to “EHS”) Tracking to ensure whole area inspected each quarter Summarize results (successes & struggles) at committee meetings Quarterly inspections include offices / supporting labs A few critical controls selected and documented Share results(i.e. scan of completed checklist) with: EHS committee member and inspection team EHS committee chair and EHS liaison Area “supervisor” / management Documented & corrective action tracking through true closure Via checklist or equivalent Review, identify trends/concerns and act on accordingly “Call a friend” 13
