Identifying Spoilt Food items • Spoilt foods are identified by touch, smell, colour etc., • By Touch • Breads – becomes harder • Tomato – Becomes Softer • By Smell • Chutney – Unpleasant smell • Avial – Unpleasant smell • By Colour • Bread – Turns White due to fungus action • Cut Apple – Turns brown due to oxidation
