  2. What is cheating? • Plagiarizing; for example copying, paraphrasing and self-plagiarizing • Unauthorized co-operation • Joyriding or taking advantage • Fabrication • Un-authorized aids

  3. Consequences • All suspected cases will be reported to the disciplinary committee • The teacher is not allowed to haggle or punish! • Warning or suspension from classes • IDE practice a zero tolerance policy against academic dishonesty

  4. Avoid accusations • Read the instructions – not only the assignment. • ”Individually” means one single person. • Be prepared to describe carefully how you solved the assignment • The names of the cover are those who solved the assignment. • Use references to everything that is not your own! • Whenever in doubt – ask your teacher! • Read more (full document) at http://www.mdh.se/ide/utbildning/cheating
