This means teachers will need to help all students: • Externalize their thinking. • Listen carefully to one another and take one another seriously. • Dig deeper into data and evidence of their positions. • Work with the reasoning of others. • Build a classroom culture that supports “public reasoning”. • Provide well guided social interactions which builds in time to think as an individual.
