Abraham • Abraham believed in one singular creator • G-d speaks to Abraham, and he wanders the earth • Abraham is told by G-d to sacrifice his son Isaac • As Abraham begins, an angel intervenes • His son is spared • A lamb is sacrificed instead
Abraham • G-d enters into a covenant with Abraham • A sacred bond • Abraham will lead many nations • His people are the chosen people of G-d
Moses • Born during Jewish enslavement in Egypt • Pharaoh orders all Hebrew male babies drowned • Moses escapes by floating down the Nile River • Pharaoh’s daughter adopts him • He is raised as a prince
