Basic Concept Stuff • InRoads does not automatically save anything • If you make a change you want to keep, save it!
InRoads Light – File Types • InRoads data files • RWK – overall project files (*.rwk) • DTM – surface Digital Terrain Model (*.dtm) • ALG – geometry project files or ALiGnments (*.alg) • ITL – template library files (*.itl) • IRD – roadway design (*.ird)
InRoads Light – Launching InRoads • In MicroStaion, you must choose file to open in order to launch the software. • InRoads does not require you to open a file. • To get data into InRoads, you need to load it after the software is launched. • Launch InRoad from the MicroStation Menu • ODOT>InRoads XM
