  1. 4-H Ag Adventures Hey Boys and Girls! My name is Pork Chop and I am here to tell you about your upcoming field trip. In November, your teacher will be taking you to 4-H Ag Adventures!

  2. 4-H Ag Adventures is located on the University of Florida research farm in Marianna. During your trip you will see some really cool things and you are going to have a lot of fun. Before you come to the farm, I am going to share some useful information with you. So listen closely. Here we go. WEEE!!!

  3. Do you know the name of our country?

  4. That’s right! We live in the United States of America.

  5. Your School is located in the state of .

  6. Your School is located in the state of Florida.

  7. Your school is in located in County. Where is this county located on the Florida map?

  8. Tallahassee, the State Capital. Your school is in located in Jackson County. Jackson County is located in North Florida.

  9. Did you know that: • 307 million people live in the USA? • 18 million people live Florida? • 60 thousand people live in Jackson County?

  10. 83, 000 people can sit in the Florida State University football field, so there is room for everyone who lives in Jackson County to have seat.

  11. You would need 217 FSU stadiums for everyone in Florida to have a seat! You would need over 3,000 stadiums for everyone in America to have a seat.

  12. 18 million people live in Florida. That is a lot of people. Where does everyone get their food?

  13. Where do grocery stores get the food to sell?

  14. Farmers!!! Our food comes from Farms!

  15. 4-H Ag Adventures November 3-4, 2011 Come learn more about Florida farmers and where your food comes from!

  16. To participate in the 4-H Ag Adventures field trip, you and your friends will travel to the UF Beef Unit and Research Fields. Tell your teacher to check the schedule to find out where your first station will take place. Beef Unit HWY 162 Research Fields HWY 71
