Cargohopper is a system • Cargohopper is not about hardware. It is a complete logistic concept • The chain of supply is wide going optimized by the use of a swap station only 300 meters from the inner city for the small Cargohopper • This way, it stays in the inner city, looses no time while driving on and backwards to the distribution centre outside the city
Cargohopper combines smart delivery with high-tech techniques • Cargohopper has two types of vehicles. • A small 16 meter long 1.25 meter wide distribution train for parcel delivery. Its speed is 20 km/h with a range of approx. 75 kilometers • A larger 9 meter long tractor trailer unit suitable to carry 10 pallets of 20 warehouse trollies. Its speed is up to 50 km/h with a range of 100+ kilometre • Both vehicles have solar panels on the roof for more range and less emission
