Some events in the book • Greg`s mom takes him to the Bombshells Beauty Salon, where his mom and grandma get their hair done, and where grandma gets tabloids. • Greg`s dad gets the family a dog. • Greg and Rowley do a video game tournament where whoever the winner is they get a million dollars.

14. Problem • The main thing Greg wants to do this summer is to go on a vacation to the beach and ride the Cranium Shaker. But the reason the Heffleys don`t go is because they can`t afford it. But Greg`s mom says one they`ll look back to this as the “best summer ever”.

15. Solution • The summer ends for Greg Heffley, and school starts up in a few days, and he`s kind of relived it`s finally over.
