  2. 三義木雕---簡介 • 三義因西湖溪在 交會處形成三叉狀名為「三叉」改成現在的「三義」，是由於感「叉」字不雅「叉」跟「義」的簡寫相像，在 1953年改名為三義。

  3. 三義木雕 • 三義木雕發展的起源，是鄉民吳進寶先生於1918年撿拾枯木回家加工做擺飾，被日本人視為藝術品而喜歡!

  5. 三義位置 • 三義鄉位於苗栗縣南端，隔大安溪與台中縣后里鄉相鄰，東北隔三角山（五六七公尺）和銅鑼鄉新隆。

  6. 三義位置 • 關刀山是本鄉和卓蘭、大湖的天然界線，西側的火炎山稜脈與苑裡、蕉坑、南勢林、福興、通霄相接，北與銅鑼鄉相近。
