  9. 2. Jesus has Compassion Jesus Experienced All The emotions We Do • Lived in a family • Worked as carpenter • Betrayed by a friend • Suffered humiliation • Separated from closest

  11. 2. Jesus has Compassion • He is sympathetic to us • He was tempted also – Heb. 4:15 • But he was without sin • He has compassion for us in any problem or sorrow

  12. 3. Jesus is our Friend “A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Prov. 18:24

  14. 3. Jesus is our Friend A true friend will never leave nor forsake us. “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Heb.13:5b Jesus called His disciples His friends - Luke 12:4-5

  16. Does Jesus Care ? Yes He died for us – Heb. 2:9 He has compassion He is a friend for life

  17. Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Ps. 55:22
