Choose your attitude • There is always a choice about the way you do your work, even if there not a choice about the work itself • Need courage to choose • Act “World Famous” • When you are doing what you are doing, who are you being?
“Choose your attitude” means: • Decide you hate your class from day 1. • My way or the highway! • I am in control of my attitude. • Can I go home now?
Play • Have a good time in a respectful manner • Create shared experiences.
“PLAY” Means: • Your turn to deal! • RECESS! • Mess with their minds. • Have a good time.
Make Their Day • Engage your customers/students • Welcome them to join in the fun • Create a constant flow of positive feelings • Create an atmosphere of inclusion
“Make their day” means: • Everyone in the pool! • Engage students! • We are going home early tonight. • Just by you showing up.
Be Present • Act as if you are long lost friends • People must find their own way to discover the Fish! Philosophy • Through the learning process-they have time to internalize the experience
“Be Present” means: • Dress in ribbons and bows. • I’m here…we can start now. • Are we getting out early tonight? • I’m engaged and attentive.
