  2. ESL 403 Website Introduction 1. Open your web browser 2. Go to the ESL Center website to open the ESL 403 lab webpage. (Student services ESL Center…) 3. Look around at what’s on the page.

  3. ESL 403 Exercise Central • Register on Exercise Central. • 2. Write down your login and password on your Assignment Sheet and one other place if you lose your Assignment Sheet. • Be careful with your password! • Instructor cannot help you if you lose this info.

  4. ESL 403 Exercise Central Do the exercise numbers from on your appropriate day If you finish early, find some other exercises on Exercise Central to do, but NOT next week’s assignments. Work until the class time is finished. You cannot leave early. You cannot do other homework. You cannot sleep or just watch the computer screen. Tip: Do not speed through them or finish too early!

ESL 403 Exercise Central • When you finish an exercise: • Do not “email your instructor” your results • Score will be on “Scorecard” 15 minutes after you’ve finished that exercise. • (What’s a scorecard? You will print that at the end of the semester and put it in your Portfolio. = 10 pts) • Sometimes the PCC server gets busy so the site may be slow. Be patient!

  6. 1. Practice Exercise Central now (Do Ex. # 793) In the search box, find #793: Plural Nouns and do the exercise. ---------------------------------------------

  7. 2. Print out your Scorecard After you have finished #793: Plural Nouns, wait 15 minutes and you will see the grade on your scorecard. Print 1 copy and bring that to class next week.
