Airport Codes • 3 letters code that identifies a specific airport Two international systems are used: • IATA airport code= three-letter code used by the public on reservations, tickets, and tickets • ICAO airport code= four-letter code used by air-traffic control systems and small airports that do not have an IATA airport code (generally those without scheduled commercial flights)
