  4. How long/wide is the river ? • The Ganges or Ganga is 2525km (1557m ) long . • It is the longest river in India! • It’s wide valley stretches across Northern India and Bangladesh from the Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal .

  5. “Latest news!” • Scientists have found that the river shark is now endangered and the same to the the river dolphin , they are still trying to find out why . • Scientists have also found that the river is polluted and is now one of the top 5 in 2007.
