Teen suicide Summary • Teen suicide is about the tragedy of a young person dying because of overwhelming hopelessness or frustration is devastating to family, friends, and community.  Suicide is relatively rare among children, the rate of suicides and suicide attempts increases tremendously during adolescence.

  3. How Does this Problem Affect Us? • In our age, we have so many pressure depression is considered a leading because of study, relationship, family. On September 6, 2007, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported suicide rate in American adolescents (especially boys, 10 to 24 years old) increased 8% (2003 to 2004), the largest jump in 15 years.

  4. Solutions • I check on the internet about teenager suicide. A doctor had already help a lot of teenager who are depressed and withdrawn. The doctor wrote that first you need to keep your eyes on them Understanding depression in teens is very important since it can look different from commonly held beliefs about depression. But the most important things you need to do is to find a good Psychiatrist.

  5. Statistics • Suicide is the third leading cause of death of young persons aged 15-24. That is about 10 teenagers out of 100,000 who decide to kill themselves. Numbers tend to stick with us. In 2001, 3,971 suicides were reported in this group of teens ages 15-24. • Young people 20 to 24 years of age, the suicide rate was 12 out of every 100,000.

  6. Possible Solutions • Psychiatrist working toward helping with this problem. And in Japan have a shop, inside the shop you can see many rooms and have so many bowls, cups or something can damage. If you paid the money to this shop, then you can do what you want to relieves stress. So that can decrease teenagers suicide.

  7. What Will be the Result if This Problem ISN’T solved soon? • If teenager suicide cannot solved soon, they will suicide and maybe they will affect other people such as their friends, schoolmates so lead more children to bad way.
