Short Term Parking • Current parking spaces • None are designated as “short term” • “Open spaces” in entrance areas intended for Client use • Short term visitors either pay full fee, or park in unauthorized areas
Short Term Parking • Lack of short term parking is a visitor concern • Managing the “open” spaces is difficult and expensive
How Do We Create Short Term Parking? • Metered parking spaces • Enforcement • Reasonable and efficient enforcement mechanism

Parking Resolution • OCCC Security Authority • Board of County Commissioners Authority • Orange County Sheriff’s Office Authority
Parking ResolutionMarkings & Time Limits • Lines/markings painted or placed upon the curb or street • Vehicles shall park within established markings • Signage • Parking time limits determined by the OCCC
Parking ResolutionImmobilization and Towing • Violating vehicles • Towing will be a “last resort”, typically used for repeat violators
Parking ResolutionParking Zones • Metered Parking Zones: • West Concourse • North Concourse • South Concourse • Other OCCC properties
Parking Resolution Parking Rates • Established and monitored by the OCCC Director • Paid by credit or debit cards, OCCC issued proximity parking card, or special code
Parking Resolution Fee Distribution • Parking meter fees will be deposited in OCCC account • Parking meter fines will be deposited in the General Fund and/or Clerk of Court, as applicable
