Mission Statements • District Mission: Our parish school system will provide all students with educational opportunities to achieve success in a multicultural, global society. • School Mission: Our school will provide opportunities for teaching, student success, and parental involvement.
Mission Statements • Counseling Program Mission: The School Counseling Program will facilitate the creation of a learning community where all stakeholders are valued and all students have equitable access to challenging opportunities. • Personal Counseling Mission: I will implement the mission of the school counseling program through effective leadership and collaboration with stakeholders, and advocate for the equitable access and holistic education of all students.
Goals of Our District & School • Personal/Social • To foster a positive self-image and make responsible life choices. • To function as a child advocate providing support for students and families in crisis, including referrals to other professional and community resources when needed.
Goals of Our District & School • Academic • To identify students who are at risk of school failure and provide timely intervention and remediation, including access and referrals to appropriate Alternative programs (utilizing data as appropriate). • To provide scheduling and course guidance for post-secondary planning that includes access to enrollment, scholarship, and other financial aid-information.
Goals of Our District & School • Career • To promote career awareness and relate student interests and abilities to future career plans, and assist high school students with related course selections.
