What is business process? • A business process is a set of coordinated tasks and activities, conducted by both people and equipment, that will lead to accomplishing a specific organizational goal or • A network of activities, resources, facilities and information that interact to achieve some business function

  3. What are the components of business process? • Activities transform information of one type into information of another type. Manual or automates or both. • students registration, sports events • Resources are items of value • KPM, JPN, PPD • Facilities are structures used within the business process. • SMA, PATSKOM, SAP, SSDM • Information – transform the input into the output • all the meaningful data flow through all above.
