New design of PIP • PIP projects include: • Approved projects with secured financing (MTBF, Annual budgets, donor funds, credits) • Proposed projects • Link with strategic planning (CDS/SIS, sector strategic plans, institutional strategic plans) • Link with EU integration process (SAA, EU Partnership Agreement) • Mechanism for identification of priority projects per institutions Progress on design and preparation of PIP

  5. New mechanism for PIP preparation • Training of budget users • New PIP calendar • Rolling out the PIP methodology to RS and FBiH MOFs • Preparation of BiH PIP on modular bases Progress on design and preparation of PIP

  6. Results • Draft PIP for BiH institutions is prepared and send to CoMBiH for approval • Draft RS PiP is finalized and approved by the RS Government • Draft FBiH PIP is in the final stage of preparation – expected finalization in early November Progress on design and preparation of PIP

  7. Next steps • Fine-tuning of the draft PIPs (in close cooperation with entity/BD MoFs) • Preparation of the final PIP for BiH institutions and entity PIPs (entity/BD governments) • Preparation of the BiHPiP Progress on design and preparation of PIP

Methodology prepared for gap analysis in the pilot sectors • Scanning of the pilot sectors in progress • Further steps: • Consultations with responsible entity/BD ministries (Ministry of Finance FBiH, Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of RS, BD authorities) • Preparation of Development plans for pilot sectors Progress in piloting of Sector Approach Modality
