State’s Preparedness • Seed Arrangement : Gram 48500 qtl and Lentil 1800 qtl • Programme NFSM A3P finalized Gram 7000 Ha & Lentil 8000 Ha • Seed production of pulses in seed village • Seed production by BRBN through aggregators • Pulses Seed storage at Sherghati initiated by BRBN • Foundation Seed production at state Farms increased • Integration of A3p Clusters for seed processing by BRBN • New Initiatives for e-Pest Surviellance • INM and IPM in pulses production with involvement with • scientists

Strategy to moisture stress & pest • Timely supply of seed to use kharif soil moisture • Tie-ups of Sprinkler irrigation scheme • Pest surviellance and advisory at field level • A3p programme and organic farming included the NPV • and Pheromone traps • Extension activities for line and forrow sowing

  8. Procurement of pulses • SFAC has been assigned for procurement of pulses • Market price is high compared to MSP

  9. Approved Technolgy • Consultation with ICAR and SAUs Scientists • INM as per need of the state fertility • IPM Technology as per pest incidence • Varieties recommendation of Scientists taken

  12. Issues • Release of funds under NFSM and Pulses programme • Increase in seed subsidy of Pulses according to price rise • Seed production technology support needed • Storage technology of Pulses needed • Post of Accountant under NFSM at state to be allowed.
