The Neutral GAIT Cycle Starts out striking the outer right heel and rolls neutrally down the center of the foot to the big toe. There the foot pushes off for the next step. Pure kinetic motion. The Neutral Gait Cycle
The Under-Pronator Also starts out striking the outer right heel, but then because of rigid, high arches continues to stay on the outside of the foot as he/she rolls forward towards the big toe. Good, but not as efficient. The Under-Pronating Gait Cycle
The Over-Pronator! Like the rest, starts out striking the outer right heel, but then the arches collapse and as the feet roll forward the ankles turn inward creating lateral movement (rocking). The Over-Pronating Gait Cycle
