One Month Away! • 2012 Photo Contest • To qualify, photos must meet the following criteria: • Photo must fall within one of two categories: People or Projects. The photo must reflect EWB-USA as an organization, the people we work with and/or the work we do. • Photo must be submitted in jpg format • Photos must be submitted with a caption along with the photographer’s name (if unknown please provide chapter name) • Chapters can submit multiple entries. EWB-Colorado Rep? The purpose of this role is to “better facilitate communication between the national office and chapters and to increase resource-sharing and communication among chapters in the state and region.” The representative would be able to hold regular conference calls or find an equivalent means to facilitate communication between the chapters in the state. The state representative would also call into monthly meetings facilitated by CRM and attended by the state representatives from across the region. Malingua Pamba, Ecuador Potable & Irrigation Water System Russ Zick & Rob Zuber • Goals: • Complete 2011 Trip Reports • Complete a potable water monitoring trip in June. Education, O&M are secondary goals • Implementation trip tentatively scheduled for October Budget Needs: $4k — $7k for June trip.
Malingua Pamba, Ecuador Erosion Control Russ Zick & Rob Zuber • Goals: • Identify top three priority sites for erosion control work • Planning for October trip • Complete pilot erosion control trip in October or November Budget Needs: $10k — $12 for October trip.
