  8. Physical Description SIM Card Reader • Internal SIM Reader(insert the SIM with contacts facingdown and the cut corner facing outside) • In order to work with a Micro SIM, please use the Cellebrite Micro SIM Adapter 8

  11. Main Menu Choose Transfer from the main screen • Select Transfer from main menu. Note - the system is equipped with ability to Autodetect selected devices. Always try connecting device via USB cable first, to Autodetect device. • Connect Source device (old device). If not Autodetected, select device manually using mouse & keyboard. • Connect Target device (new device), following same procedure. 11

  12. Operation: Transfer • Remember, Source device is always the customer’s old phone/tablet, Target device is always the customer’s new phone/tablet. Transfer direction is always left to right on the connector hub. 12

Best Practices • Remember to always set expectations with customer regarding content transferred, time needed, prior to actions. • For contacts transfer, if prompted, always write to phone memory, not SIM card. SIM cards are severely limited in capacity for phonebook contacts. • Remember textual transfers (Phonebook, SMS) will take much less time than multimedia transfers, due to the data size. If the source and target phone both equipped with microSD cards, it may make more sense to simply insert the old SD card into the new device (for very large data sets) 24

  48. Best Practice Follow these steps for best practice • Pay attention to device specific instructions when prompted • Make sure Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radios are ON • Use correct cables • Ensure Internet connectivity • Ensure connection of Desktop is to USB 2.0 port on PC (not USB 3.0) 48
