Florida Rail System Plan • Recently completed development of the Florida Rail System Plan • Most comprehensive plan to date • Policy Element (adopted March 2009) • Sets overall goals/objectives for rail • Defines specific FDOT actions • Investment Element (currently in public review) • Reviews system components/characteristics • Identifies and prioritizes needs • Discusses funding for rail priorities
