  2. Iraq’s side of story • Iraq’s side of the story is a tad different, after 9/11 everyone was afraid or scared that all people that had dark skin or wore turbans were bad. Iraq did not participate in 9/11 but were then followed with and attack from us. I think that the only reason that they fought back was because they were made about being discriminated against. This is actually a Sikh, not an Iraqi.

  3. America’s side of story • In our minds we all were very heartbroken at the event of 9-11 but that gave us no right to start a huge war that was misunderstood. It turns out that Al Qaeda were the ones who attacked us on 9-11. We had thought that Iraq had all the weapons of mass destruction and that they were in connection with Al Qaeda. When our media is presenting the world with what is happening, the tend to always use the ugly side of Iraq to make us look better as people; otherwise known as a propaganda. No matter what happened, the tragic event will always be in our hearts. Revenge

  4. Newspaper Images • 1. When looking at all the newspaper articles you notice a lot of similarities in them. One thing I caught was that there is a lot of eye popping colors such as red and yellow followed by capital letters and exclamation points. The image sizes are usually small if it was altered or huge if it was real. They also gave these articles lots of space so that they could do lots of explaining and reasoning making it more prominence or important. • 2. The audience of the newspaper is many people all around the world wanting to know exactly what is going on. Also we spent lots of time reading Iraqi newspaper and they spent a lot of time reading ours to see if we had mentioned anything useful or what we were saying about the other person. • 3. Someone that isn’t being represented in these newspaper articles is the innocent Iraqi or middle eastern people. We never know what is happening to them in deep detail since we invaded their homes. This makes the structure to their story important because they could reveal a little more truth about what is actually happening.

  5. What I believe • I believe that what happened was we were attacked on 9/11 by al Qaeda and we thought that they were connected with Iraq. Also, we didn’t think and so we thought that is was all of the middle east; not a few individuals. Therefore, the war was started for no reason other than we wanted to take out our anger on someone, get revenge, and show others not to mess with us. I love American but we are always picking fights and as discussed, we shoot then aim when it’s too late. I also believe that Iraq was so mad that we were somewhat discriminating against their people and wanted to partake in the war with us.
