  1. Become a Collegiate Sprint Football League Member

  2. Why Join the CSFL? • Each year, thousands of academically and athletically talented prospective students wish they had the opportunity to continue playing football after their high school career, but are too small to be recruited to play “heavyweight” football.

  3. Why join the CSFL? (cont.) • CSFL schools provide competitive opportunities for these bright, talented young men, while simultaneously benefiting their own institutions.

  4. Why join the CSFL? (cont.) • The eight CSFL members are well known for academic excellence. The opportunity to partner in competition with these institutions is unique in today’s changing athletic conference environment.

  5. What are the benefits of adding Sprint Football instead of another sport? • Although costs will vary from institution to institution, Sprint Football expenses are much less than the costs associated with adding other sports, particularly “heavyweight” football.

  6. Budgetary Advantages of Sprint Football • Off campus recruiting is not permitted by league rules, resulting in significant cost savings. • All CSFL schools are located in close geographic proximity to one another, reducing travel costs. Overnight trips do not typically occur – which also reduces concerns about missed class time.

  7. Budgetary Advantages of Sprint Football • Spring practice is not permitted. • Coaching staff sizes vary at each institution but are smaller than traditional football. • Most coaching staff members are part-time employees. • Short season of 7 contests. • Alumni are typically very loyal and generous.
