  1. Five Essentials Of Study Room To Get The Best Out Of Online Classes There was a time when people didn't give importance to having a fixed place to study at home. But now the world has changed. Online study is as important as going to school or college. Online Classes can provide you with the best learning experience that you can think of. And it has obvious reasons for that. You can study from the comfort of your home, in the environment you want to learn. But as we know, there is a word present everywhere, and that love to kill our time, I think you guessed its name. "Distraction." Your biggest enemy while studying, especially when taking online classes. One necessary step to avoid these distractions is to create an adequate distraction-free study space. To create these study spaces, you need some essential accessories and intelligent planning. In this article, you will know five study room essentials that will help you to create a beautiful, distraction-free study room. But before going there,, let’s first discuss the layout of the room.

  2. Five Essentials for a Perfect Study Place Choose A Quiet Place Be realistic about the place where you are going to study—studying in high traffic area of your home is not going to help you and will often lead to distraction. So choose a place that is away from common distractions. If you don’t have a separate room for study, you can convert your closet into a study room with some small room ideas and decoration. Have The Necessary Items Of Furniture

  3. Studying in a comfortable environment is good but not so comfortable that you lose focus and fall asleep. When sitting at a desk or table, look for a table between your back and chest, where you can easily rest your elbows without leaning your shoulders forward. You also want to be able to put your feet on the ground. Use a comfortable chair that fits your desk/table height. You don't need a fancy chair that can roll, spin, recline or lift because it can become a distraction. Avoid these. When you use a computer or laptop, you need enough space to place it—about 1 to 2 and a half feet. Have Adequate Lighting Make sure you have adequate light in your study space. A study space that is too dark makes you fall asleep and worsens your eyesight, which may result in a less effective study. Harsh lighting, such as fluorescent lighting, can also harm your eyes. Use table lamps to focus on your workspace and nearby tables or overhead lights to illuminate the area.

  4. Have Easy Access To Your Essential Supplies Getting up, again and again, to take different things while studying can create distractions. Have easy access to all the necessary things you will need during your studies. For example, you’ll need separate materials for writing a Board Exam than preparing for JEE Mains. Here are some essential study space items a student needs during the study. ● A computer or Laptop (For online study) ● Textbook ● Notebook ● Index Card ● Pad Of Papers ● Calculator Keep Your Study Space Organized Use desk drawers to keep things close to them without cluttering them all over your desk. If you don't have enough drawers (or any) drawers, you can use boxes, small crates, etc., and place them on a desktop around your study area. ● In order, organize your study materials like textbooks, NCERT Solutions, sample papers, etc.,, by course/subject. Label each item clearly and save it for quick access. ● You can also organize assignments and notes with bulletin boards, cork tiles, and wall calendars.

  5. Have A Watch Around With Timer Having a clock around your study area can do wonders for you. It will motivate you to study for one hour more. We have learned Pomodoro Technique. Pomodoro Technique allows you to study in small-small chunks if you have four hours to study, break it down into six parts of 40 minutes. (30+10) Thirty minutes of study and a 10-minute break. You can decide on a break time for study sessions after online classes. To do this, set the alarm on your tablet or place a clock in your study area. Avoid using your phone as a watch as it can distract you in many other ways. Especially it helps you while solving Maths Questions. Tips To Eliminate Distraction From Study Room Use Study Place Only For Study If you are studying in your bed, you will be more tempted to think of sleep. If your study place is your gaming room or where you watch TV, it is more likely that you will waste your time on other activities than studying. You must carve out space, even a room corner, a large closet, or even a niche exclusively dedicated to studying. And at this place, associate yourself with study only. Block Out All The Unnecessary Distracting Sounds

  6. Some people prefer to study in a quiet place, and some study well with "white noise," background noises such as those in a yoga room that aren't distinct enough distracting. Determine what is best for you, and plan your study space accordingly. We often consider " multitasking " very cool, but it's a myth. You can not study, watch TV, play games, or surf Facebook together. During your studying time, focus on only studying and do other things in your leisure time.

  7. Avoid Eating While Studying Studying is hard and hungry, but you have to be careful. Picking up a book is easy to fall into oblivion. Especially junk food is not good. Opt for fresh fruit, vegetables, or whole grain snacks like crackers if you need a snack. Avoid over-consuming sugar and caffeine while studying. Research has shown that they can make you feel jittery and lead to "crashes" later. But don't ignore your body's needs, though. Take fresh fruit, oil-less snacks, and vegetables during breaks. Summary It is necessary to organize your study space so you can get straight to work the next time you study. Seeing a messy study table can make you feel tired and avoid studying. You feel tired of cleaning up your mess from the last time. Research has shown that there is a co-relating between clutter and less productivity. You can increase your productivity by reducing clutter. One more important thing is to ensure that your study space allows you to enter plenty of fresh air. Fresh air enables you to focus better by increasing your oxygen intake.
