BCT 4.5 Directory • Directory search improvements: • Also find á, â, ã, ä when searching on “a”and find ß when searching on “s” or “ss” • Wildcard search included in results • Name display format configurable: First/Last, Last/Firstfor the company directory, group lists and call lists Exact matches Accent results Wildcard results

BCT 4.5 Directory for Operator • Directory search improvements: • Switch between columns Department and Building • Switch dynamically via ALT-L • Select a default via configuration settings • Show colleagues in the Dynamic Group list: Select entry in the directory, right mouse menu “Show Department List” or (ALT+D)

BCT 4.5 Startup and UI changes • Silent client startup: • When the BCT Desktop Client starts up automatically,the login screen will not be displayed any more • Voicemail and presence related UI changes: • When a Voicemail is deleted via the telephone interface a confirmation message will be given. • Voicemail related information e.g. the voicemail tab is now only displayed for Operators and Agents when they also have the Employee role assigned. (Note that Operators and Agents don’t have personal voicemail.)

BCT 4.5 General • Capacity / performance increase: • Maximum concurrent Operators: 30 • Maximum concurrent Phone Based Agents: 175 • New language: Turkish • It is now possible to create a mailbox profile that plays a greeting and offers menu options but that doesn’t allow the caller to leave a message. The maximum recording time can be set to zero seconds.

BCT 4.5 Installation and Deployment Improvements • Installation time is improved by faster Prompts deployment • Centralizing configuration of clients for Outlook lookup • SV8100: Desktop Terminal Types automatically retrieved(No need to configure them by hand anymore) • Configured Names in SV8100 automatically retrievedand entered in BCT Company Directory • The BCT Installation Guide is improved and restructured • Support for BCT in a virtual server environment: VMware ESXi 4.0The virtual server does not support playing or recording real-time audio via HMP or Dialogic boards due to the fact that the VMWare layer does not provide any means for guaranteeing Quality Of Service for voice media

BCT 4.5 Improvements for the Engineer • User Interface • Desktop icons and start menu have been reorganized in a more logical way. • New warnings • Warning to reboot after a license change • Warning to check HMP for multiple Network Interface Cards (NICs) • Detecting a loop in call routing is indicated in the Windows Event log and the BCT log • Option to restore default calendar schedule when switching off presence

BCT 4.5 Improvements for the Engineer • Diagnostics • Diagnostic Monitor now also shows Windows Event Log for BCT • Diagnostics templates (setting options and file sizes as required for troubleshooting) are made available (and new ones can be made). • Diagnostic sessions can be recorded • A non functioning Queue, HMP line or Special monitored number is shown in the health page under UCS Runtime • When the BCT Desktop client login fails, an error code is displayed in the progress box. The installation guide show possible reasons.

BCT 4.5 Improvements for the Engineer • Functional Changes: • Automatic stop and start of BCT services after database restore • Possibility to use Fully Qualified Domain Names • Terminal types SIP and Mobility Extension/Access automatically detected for SV8100 resp. iS3000 • Automatic retrieval and entry in Company Directory of SV8100 configured names • No need to change the HMP port number for SV8100 anymore • The prompt recording starter line configuration now also via the wizard • Importing users via a CSV file now also allows multiple groups and calendar integration to be configured • Improved configuration for Hotel Management Systems • System Language and Prompt Language independently configurable • The Import/Export functionality of Company and External directory are now only available to the user “Administrator”
