The Appalachians -some of the oldest mountains in the world -they’re ancient, about 500 million years old
The Appalachians -they stretch from Quebec, Canada to North Georgia -it’s a range more than 2, 000 miles long
The Appalachians -it is mostly forest -a lot of animals live there, like bobcats, black bears and mountain lions. -there are also lots of bats, birds and reptiles
The Appalachians -many people live there, there are big cities and small towns -some people are very poor -the Appalachian culture is full of music, stories and hard work
