  3. Why I like Soldier Freddy • I like it because its funny and silly. There is nothing I dislike. It is about a lazy soldier called Freddy • I really like the pattern and rhythm of the poem, as it flows and rhymes, which helps to makes it funny. • The vocabulary of the poem is very simple as he repeats certain words:- • Soldier • Freddy • Neddy • Ready • Steady

  4. The poem is based on The Queens Guard which guard Buckingham Palace and St James Palace in London. • I like the topic of the poem as I am very interested in London.
