What is Nation Building? • Nation building is the process of constructing a national identity. Nation building can also include the development of infrastructure such as roads, damns energy schemes and railways.
Soldier Settlements.What is a Soldier Settlement? • A soldier settlement refers to the occupation and settlement of land throughout parts of Australia by returning discharged soldiers. The relationship with the environment was that they divided and cleared the land, introduced hard hoofed animals and planted foreign trees to make it feel more like home.
