Armistice • Was held in Panmunjom and the cause for the armistice was to release our prisoners and then we would release there's . • It was such a big deal to sign this armistice because after Everybody signed it that set usa out of Korea and we left. • The armistice was basically know as a peace treaty.

  3. Demilitarizeized Zone (DMZ) • Strip of land running across the Korean peninsula that serves as a buffer zone between North and South Korea. • Its basically called the 38th parallel. • The war never ended in Korea also

Panmunjom • August-Sept 1953, released the prisoners. • It’s a small city where the peace treaty was held to get back our prisoners and the Koreans get back there's. • The city was on the border or north and south Korea. • The meetings to sign the armistice they where in tents. • Since South Korea never signed the armistice, the two countries technically remain at war. • http://www.tourdmz.com/english/03jsa/p1.php
