CONGRESS PREPARATIONS • Czech-Moravian Psychological Society and Union of Psychologists´ Associations of the Czech Republic will follow the recommended timing for organizing the biennial meeting of the International Society for The Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD). • The first steps, such as the creation of LOC and acquisition of the support from the institutional, public, academic and governmental authorities, have already been taken within the framework of the preparation of the candidacy bid for ISSBD 2016. • The appointed LOC is ready to start assisting the ISSBD with all further requirements regarding the BID evaluation.

CURRENCY • The Czech currency is called the Czech Crown (CZK). Exchange offices are located all around the city centre (exchange offices, banks, post offices). • At present, 1 Euro = 25CZK, 1 USD = 18.5 CZK, 1 GPB = 28 CZK, 1 AUD = 19CZK • All types of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) are generally accepted • Many hotels and restaurants accept Euro as well.
