  4. San Diego Principles • Work in a highly collaborative manner with stakeholder and interests groups alike; venture away from familiar stakeholders and form relationships with groups that on the surface may not appear to be stakeholders

  5. San Diego Principles • Be transparent in communicating both good and bad news; and • Develop very clear goals and expectations. And then, report those goals in a clear and straightforward fashion.
