  2. Overview • Renardus Project • From January 2000 to June 2002 • Founded by the EU‘s 5th framework User-friendly Information Society Technologies programme • European project with 12 partners from Denmark, Finland, France, Germany ,Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom

  3. Overview • Renardus Service • since July 2002 • fully operational service • today over 88.000 records • hosted & maintained by SUB Göttingen • Renardus Management Group

Workpackages • WP1 - Functional model - UKOLN • architecture of the system • contribute to functional and data model specifications • WP2 - Design and implementation - DTV • build the Renardus pilot system • WP3 - Organisational infrastructure - KB • organisational structures • management concepts
