  2. Compound Subject • Some sentences have more than 1 subject. • Two or more simple subjects that have the same predicate. • Subjects joined by and, or, but Tom and Sue went to the store. Many rangers and loggers study forest conditions. All painters and most sculptors live wonderful lives.
